Tasted like classic Jablum. Although, the best Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee I remember was before Hurricane Hugo in 1989 decimated the coffee crop on that island. The devastation required the replanting of many coffee bushes.
Aroma is very unique. For me, I would describe it as "rustic", woody, and root-like. This distinctive smell is shared by the taste as well. It imparts a flavor I would refer to as robust and complex, definitely full-bodied, yet at the same time delicate and smooth. Typically, I drink my coffee light and sweet, but with this variety I would be perfectly content to sip it black. Each gulp offers a rich, deep taste; a unique flavor-sensation occurring in your mouth. I give it high marks... two thumbs up! |
