It kept my attention. The Boxcar Children are on an island they think they are alone. But they aren't, soon they find a boy, named Peter, who was skip-wrecked. There are a lot of exciting parts, such as when they find a giant turtle shell and when they hear about Peter's friend who went swimming in water where sharks were spotted. He never returned. The ending is good too because they find the lost boy's mother and father. Review by M. D'Adamio

I used to read this and think it would be so fun to go to a tropical island with Lars and the Boxcar Children and live on sea biscuits. I still find it a very good book. I'm not sure what the other reviewers mean about its being slow at the beginning - every story has to have a beginning. You can't jump into the action without a bit of setting or you fall flat. Anyway. I didn't find it slow. I recommend it greatly, especially if you like stories of survival on remote islands.

Why I like Blue Bay Mystery.,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Blue Bay Mystery (The Boxcar Children Mysteries #6) (Paperback)
I read the book Blue Bay Mystery. The author is Gertrude Warner. On a scale from one to five, I would give it four. I would give it four beacuse it is intresting, but sometimes it was a bit boring. I learned a lot of things from this book and encourage people from seven to eleven to read it. My favorite part was when they found out that there was a mystery, because I thought it was the most exciting part. I think this is a great book and will try to find more books written by this author.
