Blue - Nintendo Wii Protection Sleeve for Remote Controller & Nunchuk Silicone Skins

After using the Official Nintendo supplied "jacket" I found this to be just okay. The initial feel is a little slippery, but you have to use it more to get a better grip over time. If your hand sweats the grippiness is gone. The blue is way more "baby blue" than I originally thought it would be. I thought it would be a more dark blue. So, now I play the "sissy blue" controller. Great

The skin is thin and will probably rip if you open the battery compartment often. The nunchuk skin will probably last much longer. This setup gives the remote and nunchuk VERY LITTLE protection as compared to the Nintendo Remote Jacket. I got it for a decent price, so I'm not too bummed out.

UPDATE: after a few weeks of play, the skin starts to feel much more "grippy." After using these for the past few weeks, there is no way I can play without a skin/jacket on the remotes: it just doesn't feel right.

I say get it.

It's a little hard to put on, but once it's on you'll forget that it's there. I don't know how well it will handle being removed to change the batteries. Hopefully it will flex without ripping.

My daughter has the blue and pink set. When I tried to place the pink on the wiimote, it was hard. I thought to place on like a sock and it worked just fine. If you bunch the skin and hold it like a sock, you can easily pull it on to the controller. I did the same for the other and no problems at all.Very comfortable to hold and keeps the controllers clean.To charge them in the Nyko charging station, I lift the bottom up enough so that the unit can charge the controllers. Plan to buy a black set soon. Very pleased with the product.*

These skins are cheap. You get what you pay for. Listen... The original skin that came with the Wii controller is soooo much better.

I bought these protector Sleeves for my Wii remote controls hoping to find a cover and avoid deteriorating my control, and they certainly do that. The problem is that silicon protector is hard to get in place, and also hard to take out, so when you need to change batteries and that would be as frequent as you use for long time your Wii, you have to take out protection and then place it back again. Also, this protectors are not compatible with any control extension like tennis racket, fire gun, zapper pistol, or baseball bat, so, if you want to use these funny toys, you have to take out again protector and when finish, place it back. So, definitely, I decided not to use them, because what I get for good, I think deserves less work. However, nunchuck protection can be always on place and it gives you "personalized nunchuck" for everyone in the family if you use different colors. I bought blue, pink, green and black.

Love the look and feel of these. My kids enjoy having a different color for each of the 4 Wii remotes that we have. It makes it easier for everyone to have their own, different colored remote. The one drawback, and I feel it is a pretty major drawback, is that you cannot change the batteries or use the rechargeable battery station without removing these skins. They aren't the easiest things to put on and take off and the Wii remotes eat batteries right regularly. They should have somehow designed these so that you could access the battery compartment without having to completely remove the skins.

This sleeve is a huge pain to take off and even more of a pain to put on. I would guess that if you do buy this -- once you take it off to put the batteries in - your not going to want to put it back on. It takes up way to much time.

The good thing about it is that it gives it a little colour, but it also keeps your controller separate from the others. The sleeve would of been a lot better if they left an open spot so you could put the batteries in without having to take it off.

Not much to say other than these are cute, they fit well, and protect well. Not to mention, it's quite inexpensive to purchase these skins!

I got this thinking it would be a good idea but it is a pain to get on and off. I got rechargeable batteries and it is a pain when it comes to having to take it off to charge. The only part of this I use is the nunchuck skin which does make it a little easier to hold but the actual wii mote part is a pain.

The item arrived in the condition I expected as described by the seller. However, the shipping took a ridiculous amount of time and I did not have it in time for Christmas which is when I needed it. I ordered the item on December 13th and it did not arrive until two days after Christmas. I frequently order things from Amazon.com and am usually impressed with how quickly my items arrive, but not this time. Needless to say, I am not pleased with the amount of time it took my order to be delivered.
