An excellent introduction to an underrated saxophonist.,

I bought this CD when I first heard of Hank Mobley playing tenor with Art Blakely. Mobley's sound is forceful and confident without being harsh. His not-so-hard bop style is upeat, optimistic, and most of all swinging. The only problem with buying this CD is you only hear one or two tracks from selected Blue Note recordings. You will want to go out and buy them all! I did.

This is some good stuff from Hank Mobley. "Take Your Pick" is the highlight.
