The songs on this CD are unforgettable! Never have I had so much fun and enjoyed listening to Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes since my high school days. The "Old School" sounds of soul will never fade.

If you love Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes...you'll LOVE this!! Listening to this cd brought back so many memories from back-in-the day when you remembered where you were and what you were doing when these songs came on. The best part about this CD is that it contains Miss You pt. 1 & 2!! Every song, even the ones that I hadnt heard before put a smile on my face and a mellow groove in my heart. Its very sad that the Philly sound is no longer around and that rich R&B music like this has been replaced by synthesizers and lame Karaoke singers!!!

Excellent. The soulful sound of Teddy on Pretty Flower to
Harold on To be True. Add the other tracks, and it cannot be beat. A classic.

This album includes Pretty Flower and To Be True; two of the best of the Bluenotes. What a walk down memory lane this album was for me! Music just isn't made this way anymore. This type of Sexy, romantic lyrics you do not get from today's artist. Thanks amazon.com; I've been looking for some of these tunes for years!

this cd contains a big chunk of the tunes from 1975's "to be true" previously available only as a japanese import. "somewhere down the line", "it's all because of a woman" and "to be true" are must haves for anyone remotely interested in the Philly Soul sound.
