5.0 out of 5 stars A good value, great cooking
We bought this from a local hardware store after going to two other stores in search of a table top grill. We didn't want a bulky, ugly grill stand and thought this would be much better. It is. There are about 2 dozen screws you need to put in, and the instructions for inserting the warming rack were not very clear, but we are very satisfied with the final assembled...

To each there own on this one...I was not happy with the cost to quality ratio, but it will cook what one is needing cooked, though equal quality can be found in substantially lower priced grills if slightly smaller and no thermometer is an option. This grill was actually too big for my needs, so ultimately not to my liking. If you need a larger portable grill, then this...

This grill was actually too big for my needs, so ultimately not to my liking. If you need a larger portable grill, then this one will work just fine. Assembly was not difficult, but nonetheless, nearly every piece needs to be assembled.

We bought this from a local hardware store after going to two other stores in search of a table top grill. We didn't want a bulky, ugly grill stand and thought this would be much better. It is. There are about 2 dozen screws you need to put in, and the instructions for inserting the warming rack were not very clear, but we are very satisfied with the final assembled product. It took 2 of us about 20 minutes to assemble it, so if you can get through that, you should be happy.

We made our first meal of some chicken wings, corn on the cob and hamburgers and they all came out well. The temperature adjustment worked well and was a feature some of the table top grills did not even offer. It also has a thermometer on top which is a nice addition. The drip tray and collapsible legs make for easy clean up and storage (we're storing it in our storage shed, not leaving it out). Cleaning is a bit tough, but what grill isn't hard to clean?

Overall, we're very happy!

1.0 out of 5 stars Buy a Name Brand Instead - Pure Cheap Junk!, July 2, 2010

Almost every component that you will assemble (maybe two hours assembly) for this grill is cheap, poorly engineered junk. I don't know how this product even got a UL label. Buy something else like a name brand grill!

1.0 out of 5 stars junk, September 28, 2010

Made the mistake of ordering this grill without looking at the reviews. The first thing I tried to assemble(the thermostat) wouldn't fit the hole in the lid. After much trouble I was sent a replacement that fit. Then I started to finish the assembly. I was amazed at the poor design and poorer execution during the manufacturing. It's not all stainless. Screws that wouldn't connect fixed nuts. Loose fixed nuts. Legs that wouldn't stay up and couldn't be tightened. I returned this product.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good product, November 1, 2011

A good grill, but a bit flimsy. Still, cooks well. A while to get it assembled, but that's to be expected.

4.0 out of 5 stars Blue Rhino Portable Grill, February 27, 2011
This review is from: Blue Rhino GBT1022SP Stainless-Steel Portable Propane Barbecue Grill (Lawn & Patio)
Great light weight small portable grill for the money. Some patience needed for assembly, but all the parts were there and they fit well. Larger cooking area than more expensive grills and included a warming rack perfect for hamburg/hotdog buns. Plenty of heat @ 10,000 btu's. Be careful when opening the top, there is no stop on it. Very good portable camping grill.

Legs don't lock for carrying, when putting together a couple of the screws didn't connect so I couldn't complete assembly, had to return. Thermometer broke on first step, do not tighten too strong.
