Saw this book in our local library. Had to have it. Had several recipies (but some simplified) that I remembered my mom using. Have already tried out at least 10 of the recipies and they were all "keepers". I'm not much of a pie baker, but the recipes in this book look simple enough for me to master. A good all around cook book if you are looking for different ways to make a cake mix or plain cake seem fancy.
