In my opinion, the book reads as if it were written for a second grader. It's almost as if the author gathered together some locals and rode around with a tape recorder and transcribed the tapes. I suppose if one's interest was history of the Parkway, the book is ok. However, I wanted a guide that directed you specifically to places of interest. This is not that. I would pass.
