Bought this at some sale or other, and wasn't expecting that much. But after a listen, decided to play it again. And then again. Now it's in the favorites group - the Emmy Lou Harris, Shelby Lynne level group. Combination of a voice that grows on you - smoky, real country, warming - and original songs. Music may not be that unique, but there's some real interesting songs on this CD. Favorites change, but Unsatisfied, New Years Eve and Simple Prayer were choices on my last listen. Unfortunately, have run into a dead end trying to find something else by her. But I certainly plan to keep on looking. The rewards from this one guarantee that.
