5.0 out of 5 stars Best Band Ever
Dude, if you don't by this cd, you are missing out. Next to Blink, these guys are by far the best punk band ever. if you don't get this cd, get the self-titled one. BEST BAND EVER!!!!!

2.0 out of 5 stars Get the self-titlet one!
I bought the self-titlet CD first and really liked it. Even though there are a few bad songs on that CD, there are some of my favorites, too. Anyways, I bought this CD yesterday and I really am disappointed! I would say it is really for fans only, I am not a fan and I wouldn't buy it again. Get the self-titlet first.

This CD will be an FAT addition to your stash. The lyrics are way cool and harmonized. The band is tight and they hold nothing back. Buy this!

4.0 out of 5 stars This is quite a surprise, December 6, 2001
This review is from: Blue Room (Audio CD)
I'm slowly becoming a bigger UL fan. The first cd I got by them was their self titled. It wasn't what I was expecting, but I really liked it. I then picked up Oz Factor, and found myself disapointed with it. There was something about that cd that I didn't like. I thought it was too uneven and never really got to a full potential. A few weeks later, I stumbled across this one by them. I took a risk and decided to pick it up, however, it worked out to my advantage. This is very good cd. It's got an early raw punk style, and while completely different, it's just as catchy as their self titled.

The cd starts off good, with the excellent opener "C.P.K.", and while it does have a couple of dull tracks, it still remains solid and interesting. "Suzanne", a track also on Oz Factor, sounds better on here do to a more punky sound and cleaner guitar work. Other standout tracks are "Kill to Breathe", "Shallow", and "Tribute". There are a few dull ones like "World War III" and "Switch", but they don't bog the pace of the cd down. That is something that destroyed Oz Factor.

So, if you're looking for a raw, good sounding punk cd, "Blue Room" is worth a try. It's different from UL's self titled, but in ways, just as satisfying. Can't wait for their newest one, which comes out early next year.

This review is from: Blue Room (Audio CD)
i first heard unwritten law when my roomate was playing it and i was blown away. i ran right out and picked up thier self titled cd and wasnt disappointed. since that one was so good i picked up this one and wow itis just as good. since it was made in 1994 the quality isnt the best but that doesnt ruin it at all. if u like thier self-titled cd then pick this one up to. i promise you wont be dissapionted.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Stuff!, January 30, 1999

Blue Room is a classic of the Unwritten Law cds, along with its new ones Oz Factor and etc. If you like Blink 182, Home Grown, Rancid, and Bad Religion, get this! The best songs on this CD are C.P.K., shallow, and suzanne. When you listen to this it'll make you wanna skank, mosh, and crowd surf. This is good stuff.

This review is from: Blue Room (Audio CD)
Blue Room is the best UL album by far. It is the true roots of the band if any of you actually knew. This is Poway. I was in C.P.K. Salute the Crazy Poway Kids and the white trash that they're all about. Any true UL fan loves this and OZ Factor more than that new CD. Kailyn? Sure, it's a good song, but that is not what has always defined UL as UL. So, radio junkies, please stop listening to that song and think that UL is the best band in the world. It's the radio. Hi Tom.
