I can't do a professional review, but Raphael is a treasure. I can't tell you how he has brightened my day. He is 'genuine'. His music has 'quality' that is lacking in most music since the '70s. Where have I been that I haven't heard of him until now? Amazing.

I breathed the deepest fresh air of reality I ever have,listening to the songs on this CD. WOW!

Raphael needs to be heard by everyone. He is the best of the genre of new folk artists! There are many folk artist,but very few with the message of "Good News" that he brings. Thanks Raphael.momgig@aol

I listen to it many times, and each time is like it is the first time. Love it.

It is a pleasure to listen to creative, excellently played music wrapped around words that tell stories that make you think. His songwriting and musicianship are excellent. The strong folk foundation intertwined with alittle country, rock and blues give it a rich texture. I get more out of the songs everytime I listen. Kick-back, relax and delight! Excellent album! I'll be looking for more!

This CD is spiritual in the sense it goes below the mundane to the heart of the matter. I especially love the blue grass sound of Blue Skies the title track. Love suffers long captures the essence of true religion which is love one another. Jamie is so poignant and touches the heart of childless people also dissapointed people which at some time is all of us. The song, When We Are Gone takes away the scary spector of passing from one life to the next. I actually got excited about going to heaven. This songwriter writes trans generational songs that touich ed me where I am. Thanks Raphael . Keep on writng.

Beautifully crafted acoustic based music with very impressive guitar work and instrumentation. Raphael's strong gentle voice delivers these songs with incredible conviction but in a very catchy listenable positive style. This album adresses Faith Hope and love in an extremely REAL way. It's the kind of CD you listen to over an over, tell your friends about and find yourself singing to all day long.

To hear Raphael's songs, you know the lyrics were not just made up to please his listeners. They come right from the soul from where times of worry and suffering were replaced with faith, love and hope. There is a genuine feeling of comfort that comes from Raphael's songs which will keep you company and give you strengh in your every day lives!
I know, because when the going gets rough, those songs are playing in my head, and they keep me moving onward!!

It is very refreshing to hear songs that are written from one heart to another. Each song is different and all are thought provoking. My personal favorite is "Time will Tell". This CD has already touched many hurting people and will be a healing instrument to many more as Raphael gives those people hope and healing through Jesus Christ.
