It Changed My Life,

Martha Lohn has written a story that has changed my life. No other book about wartime Asia has captured my heart and my attention. She is a true heroine of World War II. I learned a lot about Indonesian Culture, and a lot about the little girl who climbed mountains to save her people from war. Her writing took me through the jungle along with her, I saw things in myself I hadn't known to be availble: Love, Courage, Tears, enough to carry my own pain to safety. She brought my attention to the importance of family, that in times of need, even if loved ones are separated, we find each other, we seek each other, for comfort, for shelter, for resolve. I am honored to have met Martha through her writing, and I am honored to have read Blue Skies, Troubled Waters.
