The Seattle band first went into Uptone Studio and recorded with Clint Werner (Seaweed/Unwound). They finished the other half of the songs at The Hall of Justice Studio with Chris Walla (Death Cab For Cutie, Hot Hot Heat). 2003.

Blue Sky Mile's self-titled EP is thoroughly melodic in every way. Even though this was their first recording, the sound seems to come out very, very good. In my opinion, Blue Sky Mile is the best emotionally charged band since the death of Jeebus "The Ladies Man" Christ. You see, I heard the twelve deciples put on a rockin' kick-ass show which no one band can match, so I'd have to rate them numero uno, but BSM comes in an easy second place.

SO uhh....I'm the first to review this band..isn't that neat! haha woot woot. well, basically i have 2 things to say,1.buy this CD....I've seen these guys live and they're pretty good....which brings me to my next thing...
2. If youre in the Seattle area and happen to see that Blue Sky Mile are playing, or they are touring in your area you should go see them...
The song Poloroid is super good. :)

This ep rocks - plain and simple. I think this is only a hint of what will be on the full length. This band has an immense amount of potential and will likely soar in the not to distant future. Buy the disc, you will love it.
