I bought this PSU back in November 2009 when my previous power supply burnt out. It states that it can be used in SLI configurations and 650W was more than enough to run two GeForce 8800's, but every attempt I made to do so failed (sudden shut downs whenever heavy use of graphics cards). Even after I removed one of the cards, the PSU burnt out in late December 2009. I'm now using an Ultra 650W, and it's running SLI just fine.

I have had this psu in my system for less than a year now. In this time i have experienced plenty of times, that i would come home from work and notice my computer is off. i knew it was a matter of time until it died completely. I awoke this morning to the computer being off, yet again. i flipped the switch for the power supply to off and then back on. I could hear noises coming from the unit and a burning smell was present. Tried diff psu from other machine and works fine. Dont be fooled about the quality of this, its junk. Spend some extra $$ on a good one!

I've now had this power supply for almost 6 months and it was my worse investment yet.
I custom ordered most of my parts from New Egg, but found this PSU on here for cheap and it advertised 650W which was well above what my system required (500W). I play a lot of system-intensive video games and what I've found out is this power supply is to blame for all of my system failures.
It was completely random, but after playing for less than 10 minutes, or sometimes an hour, my computer would simply shut down, without warning. I thought it was a heat issue, but I couldn't understand how as my computer only got to 50C in high game time (and usually only 40-45C).
After a little research I found out that cheap power supplies are usually the culprit for these kinds of shut downs and after trying a new power supply, they were correct. A friend let me borrow a Corsair 550W (100W less than what this advertises) and I played flawlessly for 3 hours! And I tested this on several trials so I knew that this was where my problem lied.
So my only word of advice is to take a little more time and money and invest in a better power supply - it will definitely be worth it. There are so many problems that can come out of having a power supply that isn't stable.

At first everything was fine with it. Since I was using a geforce graphic card, I needed the extra power watt for my computer. Lasted about 5 months till the fuse burnt out. Disappointing.

So I love blue...leds shine down on the processor. I have 2 of these and they work great. My computer is never off, so a year out of a power supply is pretty good.
