The lights are great. Not too much, not too little - perfect. What most impressed me was their customer service. One of the clips that holds a light in place broke and I ran out of spares (they send a few extra). I called the company and asked for 3 of them. Not only were they sent in less than a week they sent extras of everything: replacement bulbs, clips, fuses...I have enough spares to last a lifetime. I highly recommend the product and the company.

The Good. The patio lights work exactly as advertised. Couldn't be happier with the product. The lights are both elegant and fun ... you get a lot of light, but not too much. Perfect for summer evenings.

The Bad. I submitted my order on June 9th and got NO confirmation from Blue Star until the 14th! Needless to say, I was quite concerned that my money went down a black hole. My lights did not arrive until the 19th. "What's the big deal?" you might reasonably ask ... well, the big deal is that you pay something like $17 to ship something that weighs about two pounds! For $17, I expect to order something on the 9th, get an e-mail confirming my order by NO LATER than the 10th, and have the lights in my hands within four business days ... TOPS.

Blue Star, great product, but I have to give you only three stars because you have A LOT to work on with regard to how you deal with customers over the Internet.

These are easy to use, durable, and the installation is relatively quick. These lights fold up with the umbrella - so easy up and down with no dismantling required. I get compliments every time I use them....and you can even pretend you used your Christmas lights for an extra creative touch if people ask....but then you should tell them the truth and have them go buy their own. The extra plugs on the table are a great feature for blenders, etc. during the party...

I wanted battery operated lights, which is what I thought these were. Now I'm going to have to return them and try again.

30 minutes to install is not correct. Think 1.5 to 2 hours.
However once installed there is no comparison between this and an LED post device.

Haven't set these up yet, but they will be exactly what I need to fill my patio lighting needs.
