When i had first heard of Pretty Ricky. I was like i didnt even want to be bothered. Cause i just formed an opinion based on no facts at all. But i finally decided i should give the CD a go and so i bought. I've listened to it once since i got it. But my impression of this CD is that its "something fierce" and there is no song on the CD that i dont like. I didnt skip past any song on the CD from beginning til the end. I was loving everything about it. A few of my personal favs in order at all:

1. Grind With Me - obviously it gets played a lot
2. Chevy - the beat is what's all about
3. Can't Live Without You - i just like what the song says
4. Juicy - i wont go there, but i love this one also
5. Never Let You Go
6. Grill 'Em - PR bring it on this one

Just about all the other songs are on point and i love them as well. So this is coming from someone that didnt like PR at first. But i gave it a chance and the verdict is very well done.

this album is hot,i taught it was gonna be whack at first but every song it hot go boot leg it or buy it either way its still hot,if u download it online they show other tracks they got that are not on the ablum so reading this review u know what to so !

This is one of the wackest groups i have ever heard..see thats what im talkin about man..the music industry is trippin now a days man..how u sign these characters..they can sing true..but..the lyrics...the rapping OMG the rapping was horrible..c'mon man..i cant even give this cd away its so wack...DO NOT BUY THIS CD!!!!!!! Hopefully there record sells hit the floor and they will get dropped from the label..lol...trash man..just trash!!

This has to be the best cd that came out this year, pretty ricky is defintetly doing their thing, despite what some of yall haters think!! Every song is hot!!!
1. Playhouse- more of a sexy song, definetly catchy..
2. Your body- this song is one of my favs, the beat is hot and the lyrics r on point.. i think the best verse is definetly the 2nd verse which is spectaculars
3. Grind on me- enough said, im sure you have heard this hot song by now..
4. a little closer- hot song, very cute, slickem shines in this song..
5. Never let you go- a sad sorta love song but really cute and still catchy
6. juicy- this is one of my fav songs on the album, definetly a sexy song, gets me in the mood everytime i hear it, i think they all shine on this track
7. call me- definetly a hit song, very catchy, it will have u singing it all day, the girl singing on the track has a beautiful voice and the whole group shines on this track
8. nothin but a number- another fav, i love this song for some reason, i really love the beat, the title tells all and spectacular shines on this track
9. grill em- a very catchy and funny song, i love it, it makes me act goofy, beats r hard, baby blue shines on this 1..
10. get you right- i actually didnt like it at first but it grew on me, very cute, basically talkin bout spendin time wit ur g/f or b/f, pleasure shines on this track
11. chevy- all i can say is wow! the beats r serious, i love the lyrics, this is one of those songs u pump while cruisin wit ya peoples to a club or party... i think they all shine on this track
12. girlfriend- a cute lil catchy puppy love song, spectacular shines here..
13. shorty be mine- oh i loveeeeeeeee this song!! so so sooooooooooo cute, a really beautiful love song, i really have no words, i love the feel and emotions they put into this track, they all shine..
14. cant live without u- this song is very touching and its from the heart, pleasure and slickem shine on this song... i love pleasures part the best tho..
Overall, i listen 2 this whole cd everyday and just love it!! they really did it big and i cant wait 4 their next album, please beleive ill have it...!!

Go and Buy It

There was a time where Will Smith could get our attention with great songs like, Just Crusin'. These songs were harmless and also free of explicit content. Now is 2005 we have the Pretty Ricky boys spouting lyrics as phenominal as "get a taste of the salami, knock you down like the tsaunami". Quality. Lets not forget "cut her like a new razor", i hope these guys write their own stuff because they are talented.

This is awful, whats next? I can't stand that talentless nothings are making money with abysmal trash like this. cut her like a new razor" sounds more like a threat. Every song is uncreative, uninspiring cr*p. Also how can you listen to Call me without laughing?
I am shocked to see so many 5 stars, what the hell is wrong with you people? How can listening to guys taking about their b*tch*s and 24 inch rims be so appealing for so long. No i didn't buy this album, and I pity you all for doing so and liking it.
As a race, how will we be taken completely serious when our mainstream is this garbage? I can only hope it gets better.
PS (Track 12 'I want you') Leaves fall in the autumn not the summer.

The only good thing about this CD is the background music. The beats are dope but the lyrics are garbage. For example, in the song "I Want You" there is a verse that says "You had me fallin like some leaves in the summer. You had me fixing things like I was a plumber..." Leaves don't fall in the summer, and do I really need to comment on the "plumber" part of the verse? "You and me get down like 2 flats on the side of the street" is another crappy lyric from the same song. The worst part about it is the beats and the actual singing in the songs is pretty good but the dude kills it with the raps. The first single "Grind On Me" is alright and probably the best song on the album.

The only people who would really enjoy this album would be young middle school and high school girls who are boy crazy because I have to admit these boys are easy on the eyes...but that's about it.

I just recently bought this album when i got my job, but i've wanted it the day i heard "Grind With Me." I had heard my friend's cd twice and i thought it was off the chains. Since i work at a Mcdonalds in an airport i got to meet Pretty Ricky and that pushed me to go get the cd even more. I got it the day i left work. Everything about this cd is tight. Every song on this album contributes well:
1)Playhouse: Great choice for an opener ~ 4 stars
2)Your Body: I LOVE this jam. The hook and the music is the best part ~ 5 stars
3)Grind With Me: This song is probably the reason most of us bought this cd from the start ~ 5 stars
4)Get A Little Closer: Not sure what to say besides that this is a good song also ~ 4.5 stars
5)Never Let You Go: This song has been stuck in my head everywhere i go, just for the simple fact that the hook is really catchy ~ 5 stars
6)Juicy: I love Pleasure's parts in this song. He has a great voice and it sounds even better on this song, especially the background (ohhh's). I know the females know ohh's i'm talking about ~ 4.5 stars
7)Call Me ~ When I first heard this song, i think it was my favorite ~ 5 stars
8)Nothing But A Number ~ Ima admit the first time i heard this song, i wasn't feelin it. Now that i've listened to it more it's grown on me ~ 4.5 stars
9)Grill 'Em: This joint makes u wanna get crunk, the verses over that beat, they killed it!!! ~ 4 stars
10)Get You Right: Another slow song with a good hook. Pleasure did his thing again ~ 5 stars
11)Chevy: The verses were good in this song ~ 4 stars
12)I Want You (Girlfriend): Not one of my favorites, but the music is straight and it adds to the cd well ~ 3.5 stars
13)Shory be Mine: Overall, it's another one that the cd needs to be complete, even though it's another one of my least favorites ~ 3.5 stars
14)Can't Live Without You: I'm still trying to figure out my favorite song, and this may be it. Everything about this song is amazing. All 4 of em had a deep verse. There wasn't much background music and it actually made the song better. The only problem is the ending. Being that this was a slow song, it should have faded out, or the music should had atleast went a little longer. Other than that, this song was perfect ~ 5 stars

I've heard this rumor that Pretty Ricky's next album is gonna be called RedStars. Is that true? Probably not. Anyway, this one is so good I just had to write an online review for it. Here it is:

* Playhouse - One of my favorites. Great opener for the CD.
* Your Body - This one is really good also, and people need to stop saying it's bad, 'cause it ain't bad.
* Grind With Me - One of their best, but it wasn't the first song of their's I ever heard either.
* Get a Little Closer - I don't like this one that much, but I don't think this album would be complete without each of these songs on it.
* Never Let You Go - I LOVE this song. It's probably my all time favorite of their's.
* Juicy - Too much sexual lyrics, but I love the melody of it.
* Call Me - This one is fantastic! I love the music box part at the beginning.
* Nothing But a Number - I really like this one, but somebody said it's like a tribute to Aaliah, so I'm not real sure how that is because it doesn't sound like the song "Age ain't nothin' but a number" that she wrote, but I still like this one a lot.
* Grill 'em - Not my favorite, but again, it's not complete without each track.
* Get You Right - Great slow song. I really love this one too.
* Chevy - This one is so awesome!!!!!!!! What it sounds like to me is an actual GOOD Lil' Jon song, sort of. I don't mean to diss Pretty Ricky by comparing them to Lil' Jon, 'cause I hate him to high heaven.
* I Want You (Girlfriend) - Another crazy rumor I heard was that this song was a remake of B2K's hit "Girlfriend", but both are different, and really good.
* Shorty Be Mine - Another one of my favorites.
* Can't Live Without You - I was real impressed with this song, but the only thing I don't like is how it just stops all of a sudden at the end. It's like it fades out too fast. It seems like it should fade a lot slower. Oh well, that's no big deal.

This CD, overall, is probably one of my favorites of all time, next to Nas' Illmatic album, which is the best rap album in history. If you don't buy this CD, you're really missing out, 'cause Pretty Ricky is extremely talented and I hope they go far in the industry. Peace out yo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
