2.0 out of 5 stars Boring
I found the narrative boring, where half the erotica is memories she's been through. The descriptions are short and lack imagination. I haven't even finished this book and not sure if I will.

in the Victorian Erotic Literature series in that it spend a considerable amount of time in the heads of the three main characters, Julie, her sister Claire and the brother-in-law Edward....

I have a 1993 edition of the Blue Moon series and I really must admit, although I am not really fond of the series when they do get it right they publish some of the GREATEST of the erotic literature of Victorian England ....

Of particular interest is the constant theme of control that the women in these books have over their men and their ability to `handle' them, over and over, until they become whimpering idiots. The description of their thoughts and feelings while indulging in their little pleasures is absolutely stupendous and well written. So well written as a matter of fact that it's not a stretch to imagine oneself thinking the same kinds of things in similar situations....

A MUST HAVE for our library that's for sure....
