"Blue Waters" is a phenomenal recording, artfully blending the soothing qualities of Walsh's voice with beautiful Celtic arrangements. The lyrics of the songs are particularly profound. My favorite songs include "One Sacrifice," where Walsh uses her lower vocal register, and "Saving Grace," a beautiful testament to the sovereignty and mercy of God. I also love the Enya/Maire Brennan-esque sound of "Blessings Flow," the album's first single you may have heard on the radio. Fans of her older, more progressive recordings will find much to love here, and fans of her most recent recording "Hope" will appreciate the further development of its Celtic flavor. Deciding to buy it is definitely a "no-brainer," so to speak. Purchase it, enjoy it, and be blessed.

I had not known of Sheila Walsh until I saw and heard her at the Women of Faith Extravagant Grace conference in Philadelphia. She sang, "Throne of Grace" for us and it was as if she was singing to me. The lyrics and her testimony drew me in, holding me comfortably and warmly. I bought the CD the next day and have played it obsessively in my car. Track 7 is played at least once per drive...note at LEAST...once... Please, do yourself and your spirit a favor...buy this CD. You will be comforted beyond imaginination. As the lyric says, "Let my grace enfold you..." Yes, indeed, Let His Grace enfold you!

I had the privilage of hearing Sheila Walsh both speak and sing live at the Woman of Faith conference of 2000, and bought her CD the very same day. I've never before found a Christian mix of Celtic that I loved! Her voice is absolutely angelic, the words to her songs powerful and moving, especially "Beautiful, Scandalous Night," which I loved so much, I played until I learned all the words. The last couple of songs sound similar to something Michelle Tumes, another fantastic artist, would sing, but everything clearly speaks "Sheila!" Buy this CD; it's uplifting, angelic, and powerful. I look forward to her Christmas album with reverence.

Sheila Walsh did a great job for the Lord, it's so easy and wonderful to come to His presence and worship Him listening this cd; the letter of the songs, the music, plus her beautiful voice will make you feel all the love of the Lord. My favorite is Introit. I highly recommend this cd, is anointed.

This CD is Sheila's best, in my opinion. This is Christian Celtic music that drifts through your spirit in gentile waves. If you need healing, get this CD. It will haunt your spirit in such a pleasant way. Wow.

This is a beautiful CD. It is full of praise and worship music and has a sound like none other I have heard. So very happy I was able to replace it when it was stolen. The seller description was great.

If you love Michelle Tumes than this cd by Sheila Walsh is a must! Michelle cowrote a few of the songs and provided some background vocals as well. Amazing songs, amazing lyrics, amazing vocals. Very worshipful, with lyrics that that will draw you into God's love and His Son's ultimate sacrifice. This music truly touchs my heart, highly recommended.

On a whim I bought this album when it was released. I was at a very low point and this record was one of the few things that penetrated my despair and reminded me of the hope in Christ. I'm not recommending this as a cure all, but I found great comfort by her lyrics and most especially the beautiful instrumentals. The title track "Blue Waters", and the encouraging "Finally Home" were and still are my favorites. I don't usually write reviews, but this is a great grouping of songs that can be enjoyed through the highs and the lows of life.
