I read this book, cover to cover back in the mid 1980's. I even made notes, which I can no longer find.
In doing research on the history of porcelain, this book tops my list for Blue& White. For years I have not been able to track it down, but now I see it advertised in Victoria Magazine ! I feel as though I have found an old friend...who has now become famous...Voila! Jacquelyn G

This is a beautiful book, and the cover alone draws in us blue-and-white fanatics of the world. It is an important book as well, in the world of learning about, collecting, and appreciating our favorite china. We need all the help we can get (!), and this book should be the first one we buy to start a library on the subject.
I would recommend it to anyone whose dreams -- and shelves -- are filled with blue and white. |
