5.0 out of 5 stars One of the millenium's finest stars shines bright, March 29, 1999
This review is from: Blueberry Hill (Audio CD)
Arguably the most influential jazz musician of the century--without him, there wouldn't be a whole lot of thrills goin' on that Blueberry Hill, re-released and edited to bring that wide smile of "SatchmoSound" through your high-powered digital system. For me, this is as good as it gets for pure soul poured into signature jazz tunes--as far as THIS millenium goes, anyway. Louis as he's never been heard before, except maybe live. And most of us weren't that lucky. Go for it.
