Bluebonnet Belle is a gem among my Christian romance Kindle titles. I don't remember skimming any chapters like I've been doing lately with other titles--I wanted all the details! The laugh out loud humor, the gentle themes of friendship and trusting God's direction, the vibrant and fun main characters, the cheers and tears for characters' choices along the way...just typing this makes me want to read it again (and I just finished reading it this morning). Don't miss it if even for the funeral home parlor scene...I'm smiling :)

I was so pleased to find a completely good, clean and fun novel. I can't think of anything unacceptable in the book. If considering this for a teenager to read, you might want to read first to see if the handling of abortion is suitable.

Enjoy!

I love Lori Copeland books and this one didn't disapoint! She uses humor and romance to put out a wonderful story. You will find it quite easy to fall for Gray! It's a good weekend read!

I loved the story of April Truitt. She has a serious mistrust of doctors and Dr. Gray Fuller's move to Dignity, Texas and befriending her grandfather upsets her greatly. I enjoyed how the two characters bantered with each other over their personal convictions to how a patient should be treated by modern medicine or the elixir that April helps promote. The author created a good set of characters to weave into the story, each bringing depth to the story and helping the reader feel like a resident in the town of Dignity. There was romance in the book but it wasn't overly gushy or silly. The romance didn't seem rushed as is often the case in many books. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes historical fiction or Christian fiction. Although the book does mention the Christian faith of the characters it is not preachy or judgmental.

The book is a good story. I was a little disappointed by my particular copy when it arrived. It was a smaller than normal sized paper back. I was expecting the full sized trade paper back.

I have read several of Copeland's books and enjoyed the complex characters and stimulating plot, so I felt this book would offer the same. Wrong! This book is just boring. Flat characters and plot. Do NOT waste your hard- earned money on this one.
