5.0 out of 5 stars Finally! A smudge-free screen!!!! December 13, 2011
Verified Purchase
I do NOT suffer from "Fat Finger Syndrome" as so many users of tablets and cell phones complain of. With my Samsung Galaxy Tablet, I can easily pinch and zoom a page, making it very, very easy to hit the accurate link.

However, when I use the SWYPE feature on my keyboard, THAT has become a problem!!! I love the ease and super fast speed of using SWYPE, but with different weather conditions, my finger pad will actually stick to the screen, especially during high humidity. That led to too many wrong entries to make me desire to create anything but the shortest of email responses to client's. Even when I am writing a long reply in the BEST of weather, my repeated SWYPE-ing leads to a screen reminiscent of a toddler's bib! Ewwwwwwww! Gross!

It was when I read a comment in a review of the amazon Fire that a member mentioned these specific pens that she bought for use on the Fire. After a year of owning my tablet, I felt that it was about time for me to buy a recommended stylus, so I placed the order 1 minute after reading the review. Two days later, they have arrived in the "smiley" amazon box, and I am using that same stylus (in purple) to write this review from my tablet! The response is phenominal and the thickness is very nice; I've seen much slimmer stylus's and don't like them; they are too thin and bite into the side of my fingers when I write lengthy bids and quotes. This has a nice finish, good weight and the exact same width of my favourite gel pen. The clip feature is also nice since my tablet has no place for a stylus and I can clip this to an inside pouch of my briefcase.

Love the colours! Love the weight and thickness! Love the fast shipping and free shipment! This is a Win-Win for everyone!

3.0 out of 5 stars Breaks super easily January 12, 2012

I've used two of these stylus pens since receiving my Kindle Fire about two weeks ago. They work great. However, the clip that allows it to hook to the Kindle when not in use is made of plastic, and both of mine broke within two days of use. They should make them from metal instead, like on most real pens, or at least make them so that you can detach them and replace them with a metal one.

3.0 out of 5 stars Chunky. But smooth October 23, 2011

These are much thicker than my current stylus with its spongey tip. I wanted the smooth rubber writing tip because they seem to be smoother for touch screen writing. And it is functionally better. But it's at least twice the size. It's harder to secure to my iPad. I have one of those stick on elastic pen loops and the stylus is so fat that it's really tight getting it in and out. The metal ring that goes around the rubber end got pulled off when I pull it from the loop.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great addition to my Kindle Fire! January 9, 2012
Verified Purchase
I'd been looking at stylus pens for use with my Kindle Fire, when I came across this three pack of universal pens for a fraction of the price of one of the other brand pens. I decided to give them a try, and can report that they work great. No more fingerprints on my touch screen!

Each stylus mimics the design of a small push-button ballpoint pen. They measures 4.5" in length and are slightly rounder in diameter than a pencil. I actually prefer them being a little fatter, as I find them easier to hold and use. The soft rubber tip is squishy enough, and slick enough, to perfectly mimic a dry fingertip, so it slides effortlessly across the touch screen without gripping, but has enough density to it for pressing icons or keyboard letters. Since the tip is smaller than my fingertip, I have gained a whole lot of precision using my Kindle Fire's 'smaller-than-an-iPad' screen, be that when typing or just selecting icons.

The top end of each stylus features a plastic pen clasp that I can clip to my Kindle Fire's case, as well as a hole in the fake push-button, should you want to attach a piece of string or fishing line to secure your stylus to your case/cover.

I never imagined that these could make such a difference when using my Kindle Fire, but I thoroughly recommend them to anyone wanting (a) to do away with fingerprints on their touch screen, and/or (b) wanting to be more accurate with finger taps. I don't own any of the expensive styli so I can't compare these universal ones to those, but I can tell you that these inexpensive universal ones work so well that I'm never going to bother looking at the expensive ones again.

3.0 out of 5 stars A good purchase November 24, 2011

Just rec'd the stylus pens and so far so good. The Kindle is a lot easier to use with the stylus and the pens seem to be pretty good quality for the price. I would definitely suggest this item to others.

5.0 out of 5 stars So glad I found these pens March 5, 2012

I was getting very frustrated with my Kindle Fire after I got it for Christmas. I had a hard time getting anything to come up that I put my finger on. I was actually beating on the screen to get it to work. Was ready to just return it for my money back until I bought these pens. What a lifesaver! I point and my websites come up immediately. They were a really good deal for $4.99. Best money I ever spent. I gave my daughter one also and she loves hers too. Highly recommend these pens for average everyday use.

3.0 out of 5 stars Works on iPad but you have to apply a lot of pressure August 14, 2011

I bought these to use with an iPad2, but noticed I had to apply a lot of pressure to make the touch screen respond. I barely have to apply pressure when I use my fingertips, but these required too much pressure for my comfort.
