This is an amazing man to carry on so well after the break-up of the Osborne Brothers. I've heard an interview with him by Bob Webster on WAMU's Stained Glass Bluegrass Sunday AM show & he is still so excited about his music in his 80s that it is infectious. This is a man who picked up & went on after his brother & lifelong singing partner retired from the business & he not only survives, he thrives. He is in full voice on this album...most memorable & certainly my favorite is, "Way Up On the Mountain." Something rings so true when Bobby Osborne sings a gospel song. I recommend you read his bio...he was also a decorated U.S. soldier. I don't know any other genre of music that has such respected & respectable members. God Bless Bobby & I hope he outlives us all.
