This CD is at the top of the list of all that I own. I have come to really enjoy Lynn in the past couple of years and this CD shows that she is talented beyond what we have heard over the years. A beautiful job by all involved. The titles and the phrase "bluegrass" don't seem to go together, but then you listen to them and it seems like a perfect match. If this was distributed on vinyl, I would wear it out in a matter of days.

Lynn Anderson was THE country pop singer of the 70s. She won every
major award available to an artist. In addition, Lynn was the country
singer that Hollywood would go to appear on talk shows and primetime
shows. So, hearing that Lynn has recorded a bluegrass album might come
as a surprise to many long-time fans.

Lynn selected several of her most popular hits from both her days at
Chart Records and at Columbia Records along with one track from her Mercury tenure. At first look at the song
selection it is difficult to imagine how those songs would be turned
into bluegrass. Amazingly enough, Lynn and her producer did it and boy
did they do it well. Lynn's voice sounds strong, confident and full of
emotion. The highlight of the album is her reworking her number one hit
"Cry". The arrangement is sparse and vocals are heartbreaking. It is
one amazing performance.

Any lover of country music, heck, any type of music, would be remiss if
they did not check out this masterpiece. Don't miss out on of the best
releases of the year.

Lynn Anderson's vocals are absolutely wonderful, as usual. I have always loved her mom's songs which take on a special quality in this album. The DVD is interesting.

Lynn Anderson IS THE GREATEST SINGER EVER!!! With this CD she proves it again. Lynn sings new life into these songs. Nobody but Lynn could record Rose Garden and make it sound as great or even better than the original recording and she did just that on this cd. This CD is a must have for any music fan.

The Bluegrass Sessions CD/DVD is remarkable. With Lynn's strong and rich voice it brings a new meaning to Bluegrass Music. This CD/DVD is a must have because it is totally AWESOME! No one else but Lynn can sing country, pop/rock, and now Bluegrass the way she can. This proves that Lynn is the most versatile singer in the music industry.

I just recieved this CD from Amazon. I have to say it is a first rate collection of some of Lynn's greatest hits with a new blugrass sound. Lynn's vocals are clear and strong as she performs these old favorites flawlessly. It's like hearing these old hits for the first time again. Her interpretation of the mega-hit "Rose Garden" is awsome. It's been over 30 years since the original version was released. I believe this new version could be a huge hit for her all over again. Don't hesitate to buy this CD. You will not be disappointed.

Many legends re-record their past hits & alot of the time it's unnecessary when the originals are still available. This is not one of those types of releases. This is a brand new collection of Lynn Anderson singing some of her best loved hits with a Bluegrass twist. Fans will love this & younger listeners, unfamiliar with Lynn's 60's & 70's work, will be impressed. It's great to have a new Lynn Anderson album!!

Lynn Anderson is the greatest singer in the world! She really shines on this latest project. Do yourself a favor and get this CD!

This is a fantastic album. Lynn looks beautiful and sounds wonderful. It is great to hear so many of her hits done in a new way. Lynn Anderson remains a country music superstar and legend. BUY THIS ALBUM!!!
