Even though this album has none of the vocals of the Chicks, it is actually pretty good. It's wonderful *background* music to listen to while you are chatting with your friends in the living room. If you are a die-hard Chicks fan, you may not like it, but I love the chicks and love to listen to it!

If this follows the same pattern of the other "Pickin' On" offerings, this is just a collection of instrumental songs, and not by the Chicks themselves.

I have never really considered myself a country fan, but the mix of songs on this CD really surprised me. I was originally attracted to it from the three Dixie Chicks songs "Cowboy", "Wide Open Spaces", and "Ready to Run", but I have been pleasantly surpised by many others. All in all a great purchase--I'm still glad I got it.
