I actually received a copy of these directly from the singer. This CD is amazing. I love the music, the lyrics are very bluesy, country,rockabilly, very very good. I wish more people knew of her, this CD rocks... !

lisa bourne has the type of voice of yesteryear...if you want a change of pace from all the new type music out there...(not that its bad, but sometimes its great to change it up and go back to a time....)the first song, he's trouble...WOW, weather you are tired or not, its gonna get you up somehow...(the music takes over and you just gotta dance...)my mom and i listened to it at 2 in the morning, and just had to get up and jitterbug...and track 3...soul searching gets you at the first three notes...and then enters your soul to stay...this is a must have cd if you love blues and get up and dance music...

Sometime's I get a real surprise as I open an album I haven't played before. Such was the case with Lisa Bourne -Bluehipnotik. The first cut, "He's Trouble" blew me away. Reminded me of a meeting between John Lee Hooker, The
Stray Cats, and Bessie Smith. The music is sort-of a bluesy-swing and the vocals are pure blues. It is a real shame that more people do not know about this artist as she should have a great future.
