Editorial Reviews

Review

"The author's style is excellent in presentation. The quizzes and applications are of great value to the student and instructor." — Jeffrey Hellwig, Alfred State College

"The text is rich in content from castings to welding symbols. The text covers all areas of machining without emphasizing one over the other. The illustrations are accurate and appropriate for the content covered." — Pat Carney II, Jackson Area Career Center

This book is one of several I considered for an in-plant class to teach Blueprint reading. It is full of examples, questions and tests.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent instructional book, June 14, 2011

(REAL NAME)
This is an excellent text for those who need to understand and interpret technical drawings. The examples are from "real" manufacturing drawings rather than something that has been created for teaching. The 7th edition has been updated to reflect the latest Y14.5 standard changes.

For teaching, a web site with solutions and supplemental instructional material is available and very useful.
