My husband and I are reading the book together, and while many of the suggestions we practice, the questions have opened up our relationship to new levels. Issues and matters that we have taken for granted or assumed are now topics of healthy discussion bringing us closer together. Already, we are discussing sharing the book with our friends and family couples.

This book has changed our marriage. My husband and I attended a study of it at our church during Sunday School. We were just going to review the book during the summer months until fall, when everyone returned from vacation. Each chapter was so good it took us a full year to complete the book. Our class kept growing as the word got out about the study. It has transformed the lives of the 25 couples who ended up in the class. We will never be the same and our marriages are so much better. We all understand the word "Committment" so much better. We are all very grateful to Johnny Parker for writing the vision God gave him. We have given copies to our friends as well as people who plan to get married. Enjoy!

This book really give a great analogy between building a marriage and building a house. My husband and I read it aloud to each other. Hearing the words together and discussing the concepts together has really strengthened our marriage. I will be giving this as wedding gifts in the future!
