My 2 year old got this for his birthday in March. We watch it ALL of the time. He sings all of the songs and does the little hand motions that Steve does when singing. He knows all of the planets in the solar system and when he sees something that resembles saturn (any ball with what looks like rings), he yells to anyone around - 'SATURN HAS ICY RINGS'. No my younger son, 15 months, dances and runs into the room when he hears Steve.

This was my FIRST favorite Blue's Clues episode! Now there are too many favorites to name of course. Even at age 2 my son was singing along to the planets. I would start with "the sun's a..." and he would finish "...hot star!". We would do this through all the planets, and finish together. Now that he's 4 we reverse it, and when I finish with the wrong description (Earth is...really small), he tells me I'm silly and sings it correctly. Now my youngest is 2, and he's learning and singing along with his brother. I also enjoy the recycled episode, and it did teach my son that there are some things we don't throw in the garbage, but it seemed preachy at times. I can't think of one Blue's Clues video we DON'T like (we have about 8 pre-recorded tapes and about 40 episodes recorded from TV).

I acknowledge the flaw pointed out by another reviewer that going around with a magnifying glass looking at things does not exactly constitute an experiment, but it's easy to forgive that since there are so many other good things in this video. This is my personal favorite, and my three and a half son loves it too. As a result, we've had to reenact the cyclone experiment and traipse around with a magnifying glass. The planets song is the highlight of the whole tape: a fun, catchy way to remember them all.

This is a great video. Steve gets to fly through outer space and the sun helps him learn the names of the planets (to a catchy tune no less). Both my 2 and 4-year old love this one.

I liked this video very much. I thought that this was a great way to learn about science and the Planets in our solar system! I loed the Super Steve and Super Blue bit! I hope that more tapes like this come out. I have this one and the Pajama Party one.

I was really surprised when I got this item! It was in so much better condition than what was expected! The viewing Condition of this movie was excellent! My little niece and nephew watch some Blue's Clues, they like where Steve and Blue are singing the planet songs! They would also like the beginning before the video cause the Nick and Jr. animals are Dinosaurs!

I have a special girl who is now 33. She sits and watches these and signs and laughs whit them. Great stuff for the little guys. She is about 3 to 4 mentally.She has even learned some things from them. Grand kids love them also.

The Planet Song puts this song over the top. It's catchy and kids will learn all the planets in order.

Not just this one, but every Blue's Clues videos are beyond explination perfect. They are the, "It's video time, but I'm also keeping my child mentally active." After watching those videos's for a few times my child started participating in them. He felt excuberance and joy in watching Steve uncover Blue's clues. I found that from Science to Songs to Pijama party, Blue's clues are the interactive videos for my child.

I have purchased almost all of the videos for my son. His color-identifying has increased; he counts very well, and he sings and dances (esp to the Birthday video!) in time with the video's activities. I feel comfortable letting him watch these, as there is no violence, and it teaches him alot! Did I mention he was only two?
