This kit is for die-hard fans of the mystery-solving blue pooch from Nickelodeon's beloved television series, Blue's Clue's. If your child is dead set on having a "Blue's Clues" party, this kit may be of some assistance to you. It consists of a brightly decorated box and a rather complicated instruction booklet that tells how to make, for instance, blue Jell-O "paw-prints." The kit also includes stickers and notebook materials for party activities. There are some decorations and 12 postcard invitations that kids can either hand out or mail. If there is any ambivalence about picking a party theme, however, it may be best to plan for a future party. Recommended adult use--the instruction manual admonishes, "Two to three weeks in advance; read the entire Manual." --Claire Dederer

This was a great theme party for our kid for those of us without the creativity - or better stated - without the time to research and plan for this type party. Sure, it's easier (and more expensive) to go to McDonalds, but this party kit did it all for us. Don't you think your kid would rather have a Blue's party than one at the local restaurant or bowling alley? There is some "work" and preparation involved... getting out the invitations, cooking, etc. but this "work" was fun for us big kids. The real kids could not have had more fun. They were enthralled with the entire party, beginning to end.

My 4 year old loves Blue, but found this product complicated and cumbersome. The company needs to get a clue about young children. This was at about a 10 year old level. The idea is great but the execution was lacking. Overpriced and not as good as the oher Blue's Clues products that I have seen.
