Blues Bag of Tricks,
This review is from: Blues Bag (Guitar Books) (Paperback)
Whether you're a beginner, intermediate or advanced guitarist, you'll get something out of this book. I learnt to play some of the classic blues tunes of all time from The Blues Rag. Easy to read, easy to follow, and provides good notes and instrumental breaks for most songs. The author, Happy Traum, sure knows how to play the guitar, and there's no better way to learn fingerstyle country blues guitar than from the master himself. To get the absolute most out of this book, I'd highly recommend you purchase the video that accompanies it.

I bought my first issue of The blues bag 20 years ago. I get started with blues guitar playing with it. Reflects the essence of blues music : simple, but deep and full of emotions. Songs are beautiful.

Now this is some blues! I've never seen a more complete book with all the classics. It has both tab and notation so you can go either way. And it includes all the lyrics and even a few pictures of the old masters themselves. Very cool book. Highly recommended for sitting around with a cold one and just having fun!
