the christain voice,
By A Customer
This review is from: Blues Heaven (Audio CD)
I am a big fan of singers like Paul Rodgers, Rod stewart, Frankie Miller and Steve Marriott and now comes Glenn Kaiser. This man has a great voice. I bought this c.d not knowing anything about this singer. The last two weeks I have listent only to this one c.d. I dont think there is one bad song in the entire c.d. However the song, the crossing really stands out. The voice and the lead guitar-great stuff. It reminds one of GaryMoore's still got the blues. Another song, long way from home needs to be mentioned. Good acoustic guitar work, beautiful tune and a great voice. All I can say is AMEN.

Blues doesn't get any better than this,

Mr. Kaiser has defined Christian blues. His gravelly voice and intense guitar style set him apart. This collection of several of his songs from the old Rez Band days as well as later blues-only days are all great samples of his talent. He has an uncanny ability to speak deepest recesses of the heart brining us to accept our Father's great love in the midst of our frail and oftentimes hurting human condition. He draws us away from depression and toward worship with every song. His tunes can still make me dance and worship even in my darkest moods.

Have the Blues without being Sad,

This review is from: Blues Heaven (Audio Cassette)
For fans of guitar driven blues and christian music, Glenn Kaiser has given us both. The former frontman for 70' and 80's christian rockers the Rez band has put together a compilation of blues tunes from Rez, Kaiser/Mansfield, and his solo projects. From the country/blues of "Great Change", the slow sizzler "Where Roses Grow" or the straight ahead electric blues of "Everybody Understands the Blues" there is not a loser from start to finish. Make sure to check out the gospel choir inspired call and response on "My Jesus is All".This is a blues album that will make you happy!
