This collection of New York blues illustrates the regional differences among Delta, Chicago, and T.O.B.A. music. Of course I have been a blues lover for half of a century, so this LP really caught me attention. The keyboards and bass are to die for, as are the sax and guitar rifts. But more importantly, I found the lyrics had a different sophistication that was new to this listener's ear. I am very happy to add this disc to my collection. Amazon did itself proud linking me to these masters.
