A nice sampler, June 17, 2000

Given the track listing, you'll obviously see that this is a quickly put together sampler. I'd recommend it to newcomers. It goes without saying that Albert King is one of the most influential musicians of the past 40 years. In fact, Jimi Hendrix was in such awe that he said the only time he ever felt scared on stage was when he had to go toe-to-toe with Albert King. Your next stop should be "Blues Power/ Live Wire"-- easily one of the top five live albums in the blues......
