This is the GREAT -and out of print Chicago Line set , with a couple of tracks from the previous live in Germany set recorded prior to Chic' Line. John was on the comeback trail, at this time .. and this Island release is now available again .. but with different sleeve art to the "Train Station" art we are accustomed to on the original Chicago Line release .. Confused ? -just get this . This ,and the'A Sense Of Place' disc were the last really great ones he made .. oh it has Walter Trout , AND Coco Montoya on here .. nuff' said .

This cd is John Mayall and his band at their best. I have been listening to Mayall for over 30 yrs. and this is one of my favorite cd's along with the early cd with Eric Clapton and Hard Road with Peter Green. I do not know of any other recordings by Mayall, that allow Coco Montoya and Walter Trout, to really play together and individually, as they do on this cd. John sings good, plays great harmonica, keyboards, and guitar, like the true bluesman he really is. Enjoy!

WALTER TROUT'S PLAYING ON LEAD IS PART OF WHY THIS CD IS SO GREAT.THE LIVE VERSION OF "ROOM TO MOVE" IS THE BEST I HAVE EVER HEARD!!! I LIKE JOHN MAYALL BUT LOVE WALTER TROUT!!!!

gutiar work is soom of the best you will hear,very powerful music on every song .
