5.0 out of 5 stars A Keeper, July 12, 2011
This review is from: The Bluest Eyes in Texas (Silhouette Intimate Moments No. 1391) (Mass Market Paperback)
This is probably my favorite in the series. I have reread it many times and cannot wait for a continuation. There is one Madison sister left, Kylie, and the daughter of Brady, Lexy. Can't wait! Do try to read these in order. The Sheriff's Surrender, Lawman's Redemption, The Bluest Eyes in Texas (OMG), and One True Thing. All of them are keepers and probably my favorite series by one of my favorite authors. Alpha males with strong heroines who take no bull and no prisoners.

This review is from: The Bluest Eyes in Texas (Silhouette Intimate Moments No. 1391) (Mass Market Paperback)
Revenge! Army hero Logan Marshall wants revenge for the murder of his foster parents' murders. He is more than angry with himself because he brought Mac home.

P.I. Bailey Madison is from Tennessee. She traveled to Texas to find Logan for her niece, Lexy who is Brady's daughter [LAWMAN'S REDEMPTION].
Brady Marshall is Logan's older brother, who took a severe beating in Logan's place.

Bailey has located Mac's half-brother, Hector down in New Mexico and she blackmailed Logan into promising to meet with Lexy and Brady once he had taken care of Mac. Of course, Bailey figures Logan is going to turn Mac into the law enforment officers. Logan plans to kill Mac.

There are a lot of contratempts going on with Bailey [she wants to play the big bad woman who can take care of herself]and Logan [he wants to take her to bed for one night only]- he is willing to let her duke it out with the rough men at the saloon.

So now they are waiting around to see when Mac will show up at Hector's ranch - which leads Bailey to making Hector's acquaintance [he is one dangerous man]. There is a question as to whether he killed his wife and children 6 years ago.

Boy, when Mac shows up things start to pop. Excellent story - fast paced read until it sours a bit when you learn that Bailey has been around the block since she was eighteen. Just another run of the mill female.

Baily blew it when Mac recognized Logan's GTX, which lead to a grand finale.

Darn good follow up [and finish?] to the Heartbreak Canyon series.
Not too bad except for - - - -
