Amazon Kindle HD Kindle Fire 2 8.9 Tablet Wifi Touch Screen Model

This is a great item to have for any Nexus Tablet owner. The case has a removable semi rigid keyboard. The keyboard can easily be connected to an Nexus Tablet by Bluetooth. The case also has a sturdy stand on the back to help the Nexus Tablet from falling back when pressing on the screen. Many similar items do not have a sturdy support for the Nexus Tablet which results in the Nexus Tablet easily falling down if pressing on the screen. The clasp to keep the case closed does not use a magnet, so it will not interfere with your Nexus Tablet. The Snap On case has the benefit of not interfering with the Nexus Tablet's automatic light sensor. We also include a screen protector so that your Nexus Tablet will be completely protected

How To Connect The Keyboard To Nexus Tablet
-Turn on the bluetooth on the Nexus Tablet
-Turn on the power on the keyboard with the little switch on the right side. You will see the blue light when the keyboard is on
-Press connect (little circle next to the blue light)on the keyboard. The blue light will start blinking. It keeps blinking until it is sync'd or times out
-Have the Nexus Tablet3 search for bluetooth devices
-Select the keyboard after Nexus Tablet finds it
-Then the Nexus Tablet will give you a code to type on the bluetooth keyboard using the # keys on the keyboard and press ENTER. It should connect the 2 devices together

Please turn on the keyboard with the side switch

First off, absolutely great idea. Turns your Kindle Fire HD 8.9" tablet into sort of a netbook.
So far all the keys that I have tried that I would use are operational. The keys are a bit small, but that's probably expected to a fit a case for the 8.9" tablet. The keys feel great, just like a normal netbook keyboard. Keyboard is really thin and removable; it is held by magnets on each corner.

The case has a magnet that automatically puts the kindle to sleep when you close the case. And when you open up the case, the magnet automatically turns on the kindle. The stand is sturdy, and won't wobble or fall.

The case quality, however, is questionable. Stitching is not perfect at all, and the trimming is not great. There is at least 3 imperfections that I've noticed so far, 2 areas where the stitching is popping out and 1 area where the trimming is not flushed and popping out too. With all that said, it doesn't look half bad though, and I really like the two tone look. Also the strap holder that holds the case closed is really snug and tight, so it's pretty hard to insert the strap into the strap holder.

Regardless, the keyboard case combo is a great accessory and I would definitely recommend it to anyone with the Kindle Fire HD 8.9", especially to those college students like myself.

Product is as good as it looks in the picture. Keyboard was very easy to set up and works very smooth. Leather is soft and has a great appearance. Moreover, it came with a USB connector which can also work for your Kindle. If anything the challenge is absence of mouse. One gets back and forth on touch screeen and keyboard for typing and scrolling needs.

Overall great value for money. Much better than just getting a cover which might be worth very close to this bundled product.

Not only did this product come over a week before it was scheduled to but it has fulfilled every expectation I had for it.

My kindle fits well in the case and the stand works great for watching movies and tv shows (which is one of the main things I use my kindle for). The one thing I wish it had was the ability to turn the screen from landscape to portrait which is something to consider if you use your kindle in portrait view the majority of the time. This is not an issue for me but might be for someone else.

The bluetooth keyboard was easy to set up. Just flip the switch on the keyboard and look for bluetooth devices in on your kind (make sure you have bluetooth turned on). I have noticed in other reviews that these keyboards have a reputation for sticky keys but I've been typing with it a lot and haven't noticed that being an issue. It works just as well as my laptop keyboard. The keyboard is also attached to the case via a magnet so you can remove it if you'd like. I'll have my kindle on a table with the keyboard in my lap and it still works (the range isn't unbelievable but it's good enough you can be a foot away from your kindle without loosing connection).

And the added bonus...both the keyboard and the Kindle Fire use the same charger so I don't have to pack an extra charger with me when I travel. For the price it's a great deal and my Kindle has gotten a lot more useful.

When I finally recveived my Ionic Bluetooth Keyboard with Leather case for FireHD 8.9 it was much better than I expected. The price is very reasonable but looks expensive. Keyboards with cases for the IPAD are three times as expensive for the same quality. It was easy to sync to my Fire. I am pleased with it and would recommend this case. I gave it four stars instead of five because I want to see how it holds up.

I bought this product because I thought it would be faster to be able to type emails. The key board is OK, but the bluetooth looses connection easily. The leather is nice, but it is a heavier than I would like since I bought it for travel purposes.

Just to update: I discovered the keyboard is magnetically attached and easily comes out. This makes traveling lighter with the keyboard option and more to my liking. For the price it is fine since it is only a few more dollars than other covers. Wish keyboard automatically activated instead of going into settings each time I turn it on.

The case itself is a nice case, but the keyboard is just awful! Connecting to the Kindle via the bluetooth does not always work. Sometimes I have to shut down the Kindle and bring it back up just so I can start over trying to get the keyboard to connect. Once connected, the keys are hard to press that sometimes I find that letters have been skipped because the key did not actually press down. Also, the keys fall off the keyboard. I have to frequently pick them up off the floor and reattach them only to have them fall off again. Luckily I have been able to find the keys that have fallen off but what am I going to do when a key goes missing? I'll be looking for another keyboard.
