Darn nice for sub $20.00!!
on February 23, 2014
I originally got a Craig speaker for this price and thought it was as good as you could get for 20 bucks.. I took a chance on this one and it makes the Craig one look like a joke! Technically, the Craig unit is louder, but it's all tinny, and actually annoying when turned up too high, like an old AMFM clock radio. This unit is twice as small, lasts trice as long, and has FULL RANGE sound.. You will not believe that much full sound is coming out of something the size of a car-door tweeter! The highs actually get a little muddied by the base when really bassy trap (like dubstep, but ghetto) music is played at full volume.. Unit is SOLID, and heavy for it's size, yet during hard base lines, the entire unit VIBRATES across the desk... despite it's heavy base and rubber bottom.. I buy alot of stuff from Amazon, and RARELY write reviews.. the item has to be either VERY good, or VERY BAD to warrant my typing time.. and this little speaker is the SHIZZ-Nit. I would NEVER pay BEATS PiLL prices for a b-tooth speaker, but I truly believe that this unit is easily worth 2-3 times what I paid for it,(still about HALF the beats pill price) which is what any other no-name speaker sells for at WalMart.. The ONLY thing that keeps it from getting 5 stars is that you cant daisy-chain these speakers together for even MORE sound from the same source. So there you have it.. I just spent a half hr of my life writing about an EXCEPTIONAL product at a great price point. Hopefully someone gets the message and it influences their decision one way or another. Be well.
