Variety, January 30, 2004

Very unique style (esp. given that this came out in 1991 when everything else smelled like Nirvana) but with a lot of variety nonetheless. They have a good pop sound with a nice bit of twang. Some of the songs are political but I'm too stupid to understand anybody's lyrics other than I guess it's some kind of leftist thing.
Overall probably about half the songs are keepers.
