I to have bought several pairs of Safety Blundstone's. All where comfy and fit just right, Then..........I noticed my last pair were main in Thailand. They are NOT the same. They are NOT made from the same material and do NOT fit the same.
I was very disappointed. I have to wear these all day at work. Such a shame! I've been a fan for a very long time.

Onehunderedsomething dollars for Blundstone 500s made in Thailand? "Made in Australia" was a major selling point for me. And no the quality is not manifest, the soles are very cheap on these boots, the insoles are paper thin, the interior seams are rough and unfinished, no lining. Very disapointing, returned immediatly. Fool me once Blundstone...I'll go with Timberlands at half the price.

i've worn blunnies for nearly 20 years. they seem to average 5 years a pair or so - and i'm talking wearing every day, or close to it. i was surprised and somewhat disheartened when my last pair arrived and i noticed that they were made in thailand instead of australia as my previous pairs were - and the cost had remained the same. so i was pretty skeptical and was prepared to be disappointed.

however, that pair has lasted for five years, just as my aussie-made boots did, so i really have no complaints. and i've just ordered another pair to replace these.

I decided to replace my now 10 year old 500's with the new 510's in black to get something different. I am a forever loyal fan of this style of shoe/boot. As others have noted, they can be mixed with jeans, khaki pants, etc. I would not wear them with dress clothes, but someone might be able to get away with it.

These are hard wearing, well made, and are great because they are almost an "anti-style" so they never go "OUT of style"!

The sizing can be confusing, but this line of boot is very consistent with sizing.


I am not such a fan of Amazon for buying shoes because if they do not fit you have to pay for return shipping. Beware.

... is because a sizing issue I had. My old Blunnies on the bottom say, AUS 9 = USA 10. So, I decided to purchase these using the same measurement. Bad move for me. They came in too small. After wearing them for a bit, I definitely started to feel that the fit was small for me and that my toe is actually really close to the tip of the boot. I tried to walk around with them for a while as they didn't feel bad at first. But, after a while, I could feel it. Can't return them, since I can see they'd return it to me saying I wore them too long. Had I known the sizing was going to be a problem, I wouldn't have bought them online. I should've went to my local shop that carries Blunnies. That way I would've had an opportunity to try a size up.

That being said, the quality is nice and shoe is definitely cool.

I would buy these boots immediately If only I could figure out the f*ing size chart ???? I am a size 7.5 women's US - Any idea which cryptic size code I should select? When selling a product - Amazon / Blundstone - you shouldn't make it a struggle for someone to buy it. I dont want to waste my time guessing at the size when I'm ordering it - just to have to send it back when it doesn't fit.

I love my Bludstone boots. They are like ballet slippers with boot function!! I bought a size bigger to accommodate my hammer toe and bunion on one foot and the fit is superb.

This product is one I love. This is my second pair, and I was so excited to buy them. My previous pair lasted me ten years and kept my feet warm and dry. If you are someone who lives in a wet or snowy climate, I totally recommend these boots to you.

The only problem with Blunnies is finding them and figuring out the correct size. These are the second pair that I have bought for my son, who is now 12, since he outgrew the first pair. They didn't owe me a dime. He wears them everywhere -- they are so comfortable, and being in the northeast, they double as snow and rain boots since they are waterproof. I had previously purchased them for my husband, who adores them as well. When they travel, my husband and son always take their blunnies since they are not only good for everyday wear with blue jeans, but with a nice pair of trousers, they also can be dressed up and go out to dinner.
