5.0 out of 5 stars Just plain hottt.
This is definitely worth picking up, there are some great reggae and dub classics in here. It also clued me in to some musicians I hadn't heard of, which is one of the main reason's I back Madlib so much. Listening to him makes you wanna dig up old music and expand your own collection, you gotta love that! At any rate, pick up this album, your Madlib collection is hurtin'...

3.0 out of 5 stars Heavy Reggae Mix
MadLib is still the man, but I'm not as sold on this reggae mix of his. That's just me. If you dig reggae and know anything about MadLib, buy this album.

How could you go wrong when prolific producer/mc/dj MADLIB gets his hands on the TROJAN vault? You can't... every cut is dope. ALL 45 songs are mixed well and dosed with a little madlib flavor. I wish it was a boxset..

5.0 out of 5 stars Madlib mixing reggae? YES, PLEASE., August 9, 2005
This review is from: Blunted in the Bomb Shelter Mix (Audio CD)
I love Madlib. I love reggae.

So Madlib mixing 40-some tracks from the Trojan Records catalogue? Yes, I will come back for second and third helpings with that.

Madlib himself contributes some effects and samples here and there, but mostly this is a rock-solid collection of rocksteady and dub tracks that any reggae fan can appreciate.

Well worth the purchase.
