While Marc and Kate are doing everything possible to alleviate any further emotional pain for Blake and trying to help him return to his old self, they return to the fight against Demons. As Marc struggles to take care of Blake and deal with his own guilt, he makes an irrational decision but in the end it was all worth it. Wow!! What an awesome trilogy!! As with the first book I couldn't put it down, I had to see what was coming next. It's also very emotional like the second book! This book ties the story up wonderfully!!

Now that's what I'm talking about!
Blurred Memories is the final installment of Kallysten's Blurred Trilogy and it ended on a wonderful note with a feeling of all is right in the world.
There was a number of things that happened in this book that took me by surprise. First and foremost was the "bold move" made by Marc. I never would have seen that coming in a million years but it was monumental in Blake's healing. Without it I'm not sure that Blake would have ever started that journey down the last path of his recovery.
Kally managed to wrap up all the different aspects of this series very tidily. Simon's magic was more spectacular than ever and he even - surprise, surprise - grew a set of balls. Marc, Kate and Blake are finally - no surprise here because of course the book has a HEA - starting to come together as one cohesive unit. Daniel is on even ground finally with his new life. Even Jen seemed to get a little redemption! Kallysten put something in Blurred Memories for everybody.
There was only one thing that bothered me about the whole storyline and it's something really simple. Where I was once bothered by the relationship between Marc and Blake, Marc and Daniel's relationship irks me even more. I guess it was to be expected though. Marc's hesitation about turning Daniel to begin with foreshadowed the problem. Though I'll never be satisfied with Daniel's behavior as a Childe, he did do his duty and came through in the end.
For all the trouble this series gave Kallysten (see info HERE) I think she did an absolutely sublime job on it. It took me places that I never thought I would go. I can't believe that I wondered if I would like it as much as I wanted to because it totally rocked! Give it a try people!
A side note...
Yet again, the title of this book was multi-layered. Gotta give Kally props for that!

The long wait for the final installment in the Blurred trilogy is finally here! I am glad to say that it was worth the wait. I am normally of two minds about trilogy's, on the one hand I love them, but it seems that no matter how good they are I am always a little disappointed with the ending. I am happy to say that is not the case here. Kally takes her readers and characters on a ride they will not soon forget, bringing the trilogy to a conclusion that is both surprising and perfect.
