This review is from: Blurring the Edges (Audio CD)
This is an uncommonly smooth, award winning CD. The melodies, the counterpoint, the arrangements, the instrumentation, the groove, the composition & mix are all so well balanced and tastefully placed, it's one of my favorite gifts to give. With Peter Sprague's exceptional jazz work with Chick Corea & Peter Erskine; and Fred Benedetti's master classical guitar studies with Andres Segovia & Pepe Romero, Hall & Tripp Sprague have continued blurring the edges with unusual percussion and a breath of fresh woodwinds, maintaining perhaps San Diego's best kept secret... but not for long. Check it out. "All Day Radio" ...
