I don't understand how anyone can give this a bad review (anything less that 4 stars). People forget that the American market is different than that overseas; we like upbeat music - stuff that we can dance to. BoA delivers in this deluxe edition and in the original. Energetic [Radio Edit] is my favourite song off of the album and how exactly are all these songs about sex? Almost all of them are about dancing in the club - not humping every guy in the club. Control is a close second in favourites and I really wish this would have been opted to be one of the a-sides. My iTunes says I've played the song 92 times and my iPod's reading 117. X3 Craz About took a few listens to like, but now I'm Crazy About the song. Heh heh. I Did It For Love feat. Sean Garrett has actually become the ringtone on my mum's phone. X3 This song is insanely awesome, so I'm happy this was an A-side.

Other songs worth mentioning (other than all of them) are Did Ya, Hypnotic Dancefloor, Girls On Top (I love all version to this song) and Obsessed. Touched I think should be listed, too. Haaa. I love this album...so much. However, there is one thing I (and I'm sure others) have noticed, and that's that BoA always seemed tired and stresses when she was in America. She looks so much better and happier being back in Japan, and if she perfers it there, then I'd rather have her there, instead. She seems happier in Japan than she does in Korea! At least by interviews I've seen (though I'm sure we're all anticipating her Korea Comeback).

Point said: GET THIS ALBUM! I bought a physical copy of both albums and both copies through iTunes, just to support her as much as I could.

Here's the gist: This is simply an extended version of BoA's US debut album self titled BoA. This version contains 3 extra tracks: Energetic- Radio edit version, Control & Crazy About. As a BoA fan, I did buy the regular album first. I loved it so much that when this version was released and I noticed 3 more songs on it, I knew I had to get it regardless of the fact that most of it was a repeat. Hey, I love BoA! Sell the other to a friend, on ebay or amazon, OR get this album first & only. Regardless, the addition of Control & Crazy About were worth the extra money paid, especially for Control. I love that song! I am so impressed with BoA's English on her debut album, not to mention being one of the top Asian dancers, this album is nothing but dance hits! If you love GaGa, Britney, Rihanna, Utada & Namie to name a few then get this album! I'm hoping to get them to play this in the clubs, like they do Utada's hits. BoA's cute, new acronym for Bring On America is right, go BoA! I can't wait for another English album because she rocked this one.

I love this album! There are so many great songs on this album! But, before i get the review, I am going to talk about who She is.

If you dont already know, BoA is like the Queen of k-pop! She is also very big in Japan! She has many hits such as "Double", "No. 1", "Energetic", and "Hurricane Venus".

This album was released in 2009 & it was her very first thing in America. This entire album is in english and even features an english version of her hit "Girls On Top". (I love that song!) If you dont already know, this is indeed the Deluxe verison of this album. I do own it and it's a great pop cd to dance to.

One thing that I dont like is that this album was done in english, was realeased in america, and didnt do her a darn thing here. Probably some of the only people who bought this album were already BoA fans. And it is not just her who have tried to break through! Utada Hikaru I'm looking at you.

T really hope that she will do another album in english and have not almost compleately bomb in america like this one did. I mean I dont think it should have. I does have some american sound, but it soeant sound like she's a full american like Utada Hikaru's 2nd english album sounded like. (If you don't already know, Utada Hikaru is an american. She was born in a section of New York.) She has the great dance beats. And she does have a lot of fans in america! So, why did this album bomb in America. It's probably because she is mostly known in Asia and when this came out besides and Ameican BoA fans, no one have heard of her. So, if nobody has heard of her, how would they have know that this can out? THEY PROBABLY WOULDN'T HAVE! Because unless on some music site that tells you about new releases, non- BoA fans would not have know about this!

OK. I am getting really side tracked now. Final thoughts....

This is a really good album and I real;ly hope that you purchase it beacause it is just great! If you would like to leave me a comment after reading or at least seeing this review, tell me 3 of your favorite BoA songs and tell me your favorite videos.

All songs on this album was very good. I could listen to it over and over again without tiring out.
When will the next one be out?

The music itself is awesome. It is always upbeat and I can't help but try to make up my own dance moves for almost every song on the album.

My first feelings about this album after listening to it all the way thru where those of anger and frustration. Whoever was the producer on the album has apparently decided that BoA's voice wasn't good enuf on it's own and so he has put it through a filter that makes her voice sound "electro" like she's half robot. The songs also annoyed me as they were all about sex, sex and shockingly, more sex. I know sex sells but come on! Every SINGLE song is about sex, either getting it on, getting it off, flaunting it or teasing about it. It became a bit gaudy after the 4th song was about sex (again) and I started to tune out, bored at the smutty lyrics.

I HATED this album, and was angry that the producers had deiceded to present this over-sexed version of BoA to America and that they didn't have the confidence to just let her do her thang. I tossed this album into my bookshelf and forgot about it, and then several weeks later decided to give it another go and played it repeatedly, and it slowly grew on me. I agree with the other reviewer though, this album is just okay, it does have a few catchy songs and by all means buy it if you want the entire BoA CD collection, but don't expect the BoA that we know and love. Expect her sexed up alter-ego with smutty songs sung with a slight accent and the same repeatative beat.

The first song I heard was Eat You Up on youtube I think and as soon as the song ended I wanted the album so I started searching more songs by BoA. And I love them all! I really really like her music, it had that beat that you just can't stop listening to and that makes you wanna dance. I told my brothers about her and they liked her music as well. I love all her songs in this deluxe edition, I know her debut album doesn't have a couple of songs this one has, so that's why I bought the deluxe. If I had to pick my favorite ones, they'd be... All! I can't just pick one or tow! Some people say that you can notice English is not her first language. But I've been listening to this album ever since I got it and honestly, I don't see where. From my point of view, she sings it really well.
What's up with these people rating this product if they didn't even buy it? >_<

The last Japanese Album was pretty good, and in general the Korean and Japanese albums are solid. This English release was just OK though.

I haven't bought this album yet, but I'm not satisfied with the selected songs except Control and Crazy About You. The rest of the songs just come from her previous USA debut album! Would you want to call this Deluxe!? This sort of repetition diluted my enthusiasm for buying BoA Deluxe. It's not worth it, 'cause I have BoA's USA Debut album. And all I have to do is download Control and Crazy About You from some video software.

I love Crazy About You and Control, but again, I don't need this album. That's why I gave it 3 stars. So I would have given them 5 stars respectively if both of them had been released as maxi singles. More exactly I would give it to 2.5 stars because I'm so disappointed at the way the songs were selected!
