This review is from: Board to Death (Hardy Boys Graphic Novels: Undercover Brothers #8) (Paperback)
"Board To Death" is installment #8 in the new Hardy Boys graphic novel series, a reincarnation of the adventure detective stories by Franklin W. Dixon. Our two high school heroes are reimagined into the 21st Century as undercover agents for American Teens Against Crime (ATAC).
As the story opens, brothers Frank and Joe are busy saving the life of the child of an important official, but that is only the warm-up for the real event. Frank and Joe go undercover at an extreme skateboard contest, where all of the participants are hyper-competitive, and at least one is in deadly earnest. Frank and Joe will have to execute a series of hair-raising rescues while trying to figure out who the bad guy or gal might be. "Board To Death" is an entertaining storyline with some skateboarding hijinks thrown in. It is highly recommended to the fans of the Hardy Boys graphic novels. |
