I bought this for my 3 year old. It is made of such cheap board that I tried 3 different types of chalk- don't waste your money. YOu have to push hard and write over your lines many times for it to show up!

Bought for my 3 year old niece. You have to press so hard in order for it to show up the chalk breaks...

Don't waste your time and money with this board. It's not a "slate" type board and it's IMPOSSIBLE to write on. Chalk doesn't even show up!
