First, the actual cork on the board is painfully thin, I can barely get a tacks tip into it, you need to go at an angle in order to get a tack to *hopefully* stay in. The mounting hardware is fine, but the pre drilled holes are misaligned on mine so that my board is hanging cockeyed on the wall. Overall a very very very cheap product that put an 'x' over ever buying a 'Board Dude' product again.
I really can't emphasise how thin the cork is, such as, I bumped into it, and nearly all the tacks I had in there fell out.
To be honest it's junky and I would NOT recommend this product to anyone, spend a few more bucks on something that's actually meant to have things posted to it.

These "Board dudes" should not call themselves that way. Are you kidding me? The board looks like it's made by me. And I don't know anything about boards. The frame is all F....up and full of scratches and this after we paid 20 and something bucks and had another one returned because of the corner of the frame being totally damaged. The only thing I like about this board is actually the cork. That's about it. They should definitely lower the price or improve their quality check-up line.

We just moved from upstate NY to Kansas, and in the moving process we took note of our walls in various places where we had wall calendars pinned up. We had lived in a townhome in NY state for right at 4 years, so you do the number on the number of push pin holes we had for both tops and bottoms of each calendar placement. I didn't want a repeat, so started looking for some nice looking 'framed' cork boards at a reasonable price. Too, I wanted them larger than the calendars incase there might be additional items we might want to pin up, whether long term or short. My husband has the office upstairs and I have a desk in another part of the home (downstairs), so I was going to need 2. I found the Board Dudes, and their boards for a very reasonable price, received the boards promptly and have them both up and doing an excellent job of calendar duty as well as various other things. They are beautiful, functional and at a very fair price. I would recommend them to anyone, and if need be, order more for either home or office use.

This is what you get from a company that can't even hire one designer or drafter to make a sensible product. It is basically junk with a poor design in all areas. They tell you to put the mounting clips on the sides of the frame obviously because they are afraid the board will fall apart if you put them on the top. The cork is about 1/16" thick with a thin backing of an unknown material.

They didn't have enough sense to put a cheap piece of cardboard on the back to hold push pins and keep from having them punch holes is the wall behind. I fixed this by cutting a piece of cardboard from the shipping box. I used duct tape to hold the cardboard in and taped the corners of the frame on the back side. After these modifications it works pretty well.

For those that didn't like the white logo on the black portion of the frame, you can easily scrape it off with your fingernail.

I like everything about this board except the mounting screws are so small you need a tiny screwdriver and then don't have the grip to screw into the hard wood.

It's a really cheap product, and it shows. Moreover they apparently think that packaging is unnecessary and thus the board is totally scratched and dented on arrival. Not recommended.

This is a sharp looking tack-board - with the black edging. One disappointment was that there was a white logo on the black frame - looks a little tacky in my mind. Over all works great though.

This board is a good size and look with the black frame. But it was sent in a big box, rattling around with no padding and one corner was beaten up. Too much trouble to repackage (correctly) & return so we're keeping it.

I was surprised how nice and sturdy the board was when I got it! Great for the price!

After reading some of the reviews, I was hesitant to buy this. I am so glad I threw caution to the wind, and placed my order!

The quality of the cork is perfect. The black metal frame adds such a nice look in the room.

The board arrived packed very well and there was zero damage.
Best bang for your buck!
