This is really a wonderful and user friendly program. I love using it and my little girl with Autism has benefitted so much. THere are only SOME stick figures and most have the option to have a real-type body doing the action. Even more so in the newer program. All of the restaurants are actual logos, not some wierd knock-off that my child would not understand. Everyone knows the McDonald's golden arches! It's universal! Don't even look at another program, this one is the best and the customer support is wonderful. I know them by name. There are many friendly webgroups to help also. I love this program.

I downloaded Overboard from gusinc.com and bought a copy of Boardmaker to evaluate them both for my daughter (you can't download Boardmaker). They are similar but Overboard is much easier to use, and the symbols looked more "real". Boardmaker symbols looked like they were for very small children (kindergarten?).
