A warm and wonderful "Winter Bossa" album,

It doesn't snow in Rio, but it does in a lot of other places in the world, which makes the idea of a warm and lovely "Winter Bossa" album a good idea. Lisa's 17th CD includes freshly updated bossa nova arrangements of classic Christmas carols, Brazilian holiday songs, and original material, sung in Portuguese and English. Highlights include "Winter Wonderland" (with arrangement by Steve Sacks), "Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow" (with the famous Brazilian clarinet player Paulo Moura adding his special touch), "Caroling, Caroling," and "Um Anjo Do Ceu." This CD is one of the best Brazilian/Bossa Nova style Christmas albums out there... a lovely and original work.

I really like this album. This is one of my favourite Lisa Ono's collections. I began to listen to Lisa Ono since her 2000 year album " Pretty World". I never heard such a soothing voice and such relaxing music before! SO from that I began to collect all of her music cds. Now I have "Pretty World"(a recover album from classic) ,"Bossa Hula Nova"(her Hawaii album), "Lisa Ono's Best 1997-2001"(her greatest hits from EMI record),"Questa Bossa Mia...(her music journey to Italy) and Boas Festas(her Christmas album). I highly recommand all of Lisa Ono's music from EMI record. Her early years album from BMG music which I never had a chance to listen to, so I have no idea about that. BTW, I'm going to buy her latest new album from France music journey.(Dans Mon Le). Besides, I also highly recommand another Japanese singer- Yuri Chika(Very Yummy !)
