Lost my first copy- had to get a new one. Some books never get old, and this is one of them. If you're going to build a boat, Boat Carpentry should be in your library.Smith covers many topics, including scarfing, jointery, repairs, fasteners and tools. For the non-carpenter boat builder, it is priceless. It is especially geared towards traditional building techniques, originally printed in 1955. |
